The Wheal Peevor Site, 150 metres from your front door, is a network of tracks and trails taking in 18th-century mineshafts and engine houses – a must for history aficionados. You’ll find a pub within 1 mile and a shop a little further away (1.5 miles). Head down to the sea (3 miles) to join the South West Coast Path for short or long strolls with plenty of photo opportunities. The cathedral city of Truro (10 miles) is well worth the trip for a fun day out.
