Boslowen is close enough to Widemouth Bay that you can practically roll out of bed and onto the sand. The spacious holiday cottage sleeps six people in three bedrooms and has a sofa bed if you need to accommodate one more. With two bathrooms, it's ideal for families and friends, especially those who love being in or near the water. There is nothing not to like about Boslowen. It's in a fantastic location, is stylish and comfortable with practical features like an outdoor shower, has excellent self-catering facilities and is dog-friendly. Bookings are welcome all year round. 

Boslowen is so close to Widemouth Bay that you're practically sleeping on the sand. Wake up to the sight of the sun glinting off the Atlantic Ocean and fall asleep to the sound of the waves crashing on the sand. Less than 200 metres from the beautiful Blue Flag beach, the holiday home sleeps seven people in three bedrooms and has two bathrooms. The layout is perfect for families and friends who don't want to waste a single minute of their seaside holiday. The owners have provided everything you need, from a fully equipped kitchen for self-catering to a 55-inch Smart TV, a garden with a summer house, and a log burner for warming yourself up after a wintery walk along South West Coast Path.

You don't have to be a water baby to fall in love with this incredible location. Widemouth Bay is great for surfing and body boarding, and there is a choice of surf schools and places to hire equipment. Kids love it when low tide exposes dozens of rock pools, while parents love that lifeguards are on duty from 1 May until late September and in the October half term. Dogs are welcome on the southern part of the beach all year round and seasonally on the northern part. Let your pups run on the sand and splash in the water, or tire them out along the three-mile stretch of the coastal footpath to Bude. Venture north from Widemouth Bay for more gorgeous beaches like Blackrock, Summerleaze, Crooklets, Northcott Mouth, and Sandymouth. Bude has a sea pool and, in summer, a Monster Slip and Slide. Other places include Clovelly, Hartland Abbey and Gardens, Pencarrow House, and Lundy Island. Bodmin and Boscastle are also great for day trips.

Walk to cafes and a village shop for coffee and the essentials. There is a Sainsbury's, Morrisons, and Lidl supermarket in Bude and a Waitrose and M&S Food Hall a 20-minute drive away in Holsworthy. Between those shops and Bude's weekly market that runs every Friday from April to September, it's easy to feed your household.

Accommodation Comprises:

Boslowen is a modern bungalow the owners have recently refurbished throughout to reflect the colours and light of its coastal surroundings.

Huge living room with sea views, a log burner (a magnet for dogs!) and comfortable seating for watching the 55-inch Smart TV. There is a fully sprung mattress fold-out bed for one person which could be put into the lounge or two of the bedrooms.

Dining area with garden views and high back upholstered chairs that make any meal a special occasion.

Modern kitchen open-plan with the dining area. It has the same timber floors and natural light, with efficient integrated appliances and lots of space to prepare meals.

Bedroom One has a king-sized bed and multi-aspect windows with garden and sea views.

Bedroom Two also has a king-sized bed and garden views with bedside tables and hanging storage.

Bedroom Three has two single or one superking sized bed, depending on your requirements.

Family shower room featuring a walk-in shower, twin sinks, heated towel rail, WC and handbasin.

Second bathroom with a bath, heated towel rail, WC and handbasin.

Outside: The cottage has a summerhouse and a 100-foot stretch of lawn to the side. It's enclosed and safe for children and dogs to play. There is seating with sea views out the front, an outdoor shower, and off-street parking.

Additional Information: Utilities, WiFi, bed linen and bath towels are provided. Two dogs are welcome by arrangement and with a surcharge. A travel cot and a high chair are available. Guests will need to bring beach towels, cot bedding, and dog blankets if required.
