About this property

Sandy Paws is located in the heart of Portreath, beside the historic harbour and just a minutes' walk to the sandy beach. This modern and light two-storey house enjoys harbour and sea views from the first floor and is the perfect base to explore the North coast of Cornwall.

Inside, you will find a well-equipped, spacious kitchen area with everything you need to prepare a feast for the family with a dining table and seating for five guests. From here you can venture out to the rear terraced garden through the patio doors, where outdoor seating and a barbecue area invite alfresco dining on sunny Cornish days. The sitting room is bright and airy with comfortable seating and a cosy wood burning stove for cooler evenings by the fire watching the large, wall mounted Smart television. This room overlooks the front garden where additional outdoor furniture and a parasol are positioned to make the most of the sunshine at all times of day.

From the sitting room, stairs lead to the first floor and three comfy bedrooms to relax in after a long day of exploring. Bedroom one boasts a balcony overlooking the harbour and out to sea; a great little sun trap to enjoy an evening tipple or a morning coffee before you start your day, along with a king-size bed and its own en-suite shower room. The double and single bedroom have use of the of the first floor family bathroom.

There are some absolutely stunning coastal paths available from Portreath covering the North coast, along with a well known surfing beach for those wanting a little more adventure. The village has plenty of amenities to offer from coffee shops and bakeries; to surf shops and cafes, and of course the welcoming local pubs.
