On the property's decked veranda, you'll find seating for you to enjoy your food in the sun and a hot tub for you to sink in while you take in the view of the coastline. Step inside to find a well-presented, contemporary, open-plan living space complete with a seating area and woodburning stove for you to warm up by. Walking further into the property, you'll find a sleek bathroom in which you can soak in the bath while watching your favourite show on the embedded TV, and three beautifully-decorated bedrooms, all boasting their own TVs, just in case you can’t agree on what to watch. Tear yourself away from your haven to visit the rest of the park and village where you'll be spoilt for choice of eateries and activities; tuck into a delicious meal at Portreath Arms pub with its beer garden overlooking the sea, head to Pod Café Portreath for some delicious breakfast and local treats such as Cornish pasties and ice cream, and bask in the sun on the soft, fine sand at Portreath Beach. Drive down to the amazing coastal town Falmouth and visit Pendennis Castle, a stunning castle built by Henry VII with breathtaking estuary views. Walk through Trebah Garden a sub-tropical paradise with seasonal blooms, trees and a private beach, and for a taste of history go to the National Maritime Museum Cornwall to see the boats and other maritime artefacts. Another lovely seaside town for you to visit is St. Ives, Cornwall's best-loved town, where you can walk through the exhibitions of Tate St Ives, the iconic gallery overlooking the Atlantic Ocean, head to The Leach Pottery and try your hand at making your own ceramic trinket, and end the day at Porthgwidden Beach Cafe for some beachside dining on a sun terrace. Bay View is the perfect base for a coastal holiday.

Dating back some 500 years, the fishing village of Portpatrick features a small rocky bay, sheltered by cliffs, and was once a thriving seaport. Today known as the 'Jewel in the Crown of Galloway', it boasts a variety of stunning cliff-top walks, secluded bays and beaches, and a fine selection of harbour-side pubs, restaurants and gift shops. At the south end of the village visitors can find the Lighthouse Pottery, offering stunning views of the area, and evoking the sense of an amphitheatre, with a line of attractive buildings stretching across the skyline. Portpatrick is also home to one of the 30 life-boat stations in Scotland, offering an exhibition that is well worth a visit. There is an excellent beach with launching ramp, both rock and freshwater fishing, and several boats, which transport sea anglers out from the harbour to catch warsse, cod, mackerel, whiting, plaice and skate. With golfing, bowling, and tennis facilities close by, Portpatrick is the perfect location for a relaxing break.

Very comfortable and spacious with an amazing hot tub. Comfy beds and very clean. Nice view of the sea. Decked area is lovely - can imagine in the summer it is gorgeous with all the surrounding plants. Kids loved the tennis courts and food at the Terrace within the resort was very good. Very friendly hosts. Would highly recommend!

All very clean, comfortable and in nice working order. The only very minor negatives, being that the listing didn't state how steep and bumpy the path from the parking space down to the cottage was and there was no hand rail for the steps up to the cottage. Thankfully my mother was having a good week, so coped fine though. Also in the things to do material, it was stated that the footpath down to the village is suitable for pushchairs and wheelchairs. We'd say it's definitely too steep for all but the most powerful wheelchairs and mobility scooters.

The owner was very helpful with any queries I had. The view of the sea was beautiful. It was 20 minute downhill walk into Portreath. The swimming pool, which was included in the price was great, and it had a jacuzzi, steam room and sauna. The on-site restaurant was very good as well. I would definitely recommend
