Set in the heart of the historic port of Porthleven, Merrilee is a traditional semi-detached cottage that has been lovingly refurbished and features its own enclosed garden.
Beautifully refurbished to retain some original, traditional features whilst adopting a modern feel, Merrilee is a superb holiday home for four people and their four-legged friend. Situated in the centre of Porthleven, it has exposed beams, a cosy woodburning stove, modern kitchen and thick granite walls. When doing the renovations, the owners tried to be as “green” as possible and included solar panels, solar thermal heating the hot water and air source heating the underfloor. Outside, there is an enclosed garden with a mixture of patio, gravel and flower beds. Merrilee is found in a street of traditional cottages a short walk to the main hub of local shops, cafes, restaurants.

Merrilee is a lovely holiday home. Right in the centre of Porthleven and it is extremely comfortable and the owner was on hand to show us around. It's one of those treasured properties you will come back to year after year.

Wonderful cottage, spotless, everything you need is catered for. Great location, lovely garden area super sun trap and doggie safe. Really nice treats on arrival. The owner is so lovely and friendly really welcoming. Really good value for money worth every penny. Would recommend to anyone from couples to families. Be prepared to park away from the cottage if the street is busy, not a problem for us, we were happy to park close by. Beautiful cottage.
