… tucked away within Porthleven harbour area, 2 minutes from the harbour and a 5 minute stroll from the beach, a traditional fisherman’s cottage dating from 1848. Path (shared with neighbouring cottage) to own enclosed suntrap garden (table/chairs) with small lawns, a lovely place for eating alfresco.
Inside, a wealth of traditional charm and character. Entrance into sunny, bright conservatory with table/chairs and comfy sofa; cosy living room (TV/DVD); kitchen (washing machine, microwave, fridge-freezer, electric range-style cooker); dining room. Downstairs single bedroom; bathroom (suite, shower over bath). Steep stairs up to two more bedrooms – a double (6’ bed) (TV/DVD), and a single. Electricity and heating extra (key meter; first £10 provided). A much loved family home within an extremely popular village in a beautiful spot.

"This quirky cottage is ideally located within the heart of Porthleven, a one to two minute walk from the harbour and all that it offers and a five-ten minute walk from the beach (a bit more if like us you have to navigate the steps down to the dog friendly section). The master bedroom is fantastic as is the large bed within, our two boys shared the other upstairs bedroom one in a travel cot and one in the single bed. All in all the property is a great base from which to enjoy this area of Cornwall (not that you really need to leave Porthleven which is our favourite Cornish holiday location). Particularly recommend the beaches at Gunwalloe especially if you require dog friendly as Dollar Cove is easier to access than the beach in Porthleven (due to those steps), also Penrose Estate and Loe Bar is on your doorstep and the SW Coast Path is also easily accessible from the cottage."

"I was part of a group reunion of ladies after we had met on a holiday last year. We all had a wonderful weekend. The cottage is in a great location for all of the fabulous restaurants. Its a really cute cottage suitable for a family or couples and especially good as its fully enclosed The garden is perfect for sitting out al fresco with a gin & tonic or a glass of Prosecco.(Which we did) The ladies especially liked the breakfasts at The Hideaway, Amelie's and The Square @ Porthleven are als great value for money."
