This holiday home is presented with a high quality finish throughout. This seaside getaway is just the break you need amidst golden sands and clear waters in the town where Poldark was conceived and only fifteen minutes away from Holywell bay beach and the iconic Gull Rocks as seen on the BBCs TV series. Perranporth with its unique views is one of the best beaches in Cornwall with its perfect sunsets, inspiring the many romantic works of Rosamunde Pilcher. Enjoy the contemporary style setup with wooden floors sweeping across the interior of this self catering property. Stroll up to The Watering Hole, a bar on the beach, where you can listen to live music, enjoy a burger, breakfast bap or fish and chips, and watch the orange sun sink below the horizon. Chapel Rock Pool is a rare recognisable feature in cornwall not to be missed, located on the 3 mile long stretch of golden sand, this natural open air pool is filled with sea water at high tide and warmed by the sun during the day - a honey pot for families! During high tide the rock eventually becomes a tiny island. St Piran the patron saint of Cornwall’s Oratory can be found in the dunes just above the beach. Thought to be well over a thousand years old, the site is believed to actually predate Christianity. Perranporth is pretty much surrounded by National Trust properties. This property is stunning whatever the time of year to use as a base in Cornwall with many activities and attractions on offer all year round,lending itself for last minute weekend breaks due to its ease of access. The views from the lounge and both bedrooms really take your breath away many people describe it as a moving live picture postcard. Be it watching a storm front come in, or the all year round surfers, or the horses riding on the beach, with the tide going in and out it is an ever changing view you just won’t tire of even at night you can often see the lights of the fishing boats twinkling on the horizon. It really is a very special place.

This coastal town lies in the heart of Poldark Country, and offers plenty of traditional pubs and shops, plus a classic bucket-and-spade beach that is lifeguarded in summer, overlooked by craggy rocks and a wonderful coastal path.     The best feature of this apartment is it's fantastic location which is only a couple hundred meters from the beach and the centre of Perranporth. The views of the beach from the apartments lounge are beautiful to wake up to everyday. The apartment itself is well equipped with everything you need for a self catering break. Everything is nice and clean and has been well thought of. Would we return to Chapel Rock again, yes definitely. Would we recommend Chapel Rock, yes definitely.
