Brian & Sheila
The Yurt is set on decking in a 2 acre wood, with a wide variety of trees. There is a large pond which is home to a host of fish and wildlife. Paths are cut through the woods for guests to roam and a playground is set in the woods with climbing wall, swings, see-saw, zipline and more. The area is very secluded and is a magical place to relax, yet close to many beaches and the towns of Penzance and Helston. Fabulous beaches are close by including Praa Sands where there are life guards for your safety, a pub / restaurant and shop on the beach. Perranuthnoe beach is also very close and often a little quieter, again with a small tea room nearby. Penzance has all the usual national stores and supermarkets plus many small independent stores to browse in. For those interested in the fishing industry, Newlyn harbour is just past Penzance and one of the major fishing ports in the country. Falmouth town and harbour are about a half hours drive away with many points of interest, including the National Maritime Museum which is well worth a visit especially on a damp day. Flambards theme park is just past Helston, (home of the floral dance) with all the usual rollercoasters and fun rides. to the West lands End is often a popular place to visit, just to say you have been to the most westerly point in the UK, One of the most popular destinations is St Ives, a most picturesque town with beautiful beaches. St Ives is not designed for a lot of traffic so taking the 20 minute, scenic train ride from St Erth station is often a good choice. The Minack Theatre is another amazing place to visit. the vision of an open air theatre cut into the side of a cliff, overlooking the sandy beach of Porthcurno and views across the bay. In short, many things to see and do with some beautiful places to visit.
Brian and Sheila are semi retired and have a great interest in nature and the environment. they have invested much in the property to create a natural environment and a relaxing spot to chill out and enjoy the peace and quiet.
It is a rural location in a small hamlet, yet close to many attractions, towns and beautiful beaches.
