About this property

A charming, welcoming single storey cottage, the annex to the main house, set in delightful gardens where you have a choice of areas to sit and enjoy the peace and tranquillity in this World Heritage site.  The property, in the village of Frogpool, has a friendly and newly refurbished pub/ restaurant, “ The Cornish Arms” only a matter of a few minutes walk down the lane, and the Morgan classic car garage at Perranwell just over a mile away, where you can rent a car for a special day out. There are lovely walks to take directly from the property, plus cycle hire is available at Bissoe Bike Hire, with miles of tracks only 6 minutes away.  Numerous beaches at Falmouth approximately 20 minutes drive, with more beaches and the coastline on the North coast a similar distance the other way. This cottage is in a great position, situated so centrally within the county.

 

Accommodation:

Lounge: With sofa and arm chairs,  Smart TV, (with fire stick, guests can bring their own for more options), DVDs, radio, coffee table.

Kitchen:  With electric range, microwave, dishwasher, fridge/freezer, toaster, electric kettle.  

Washing machine available in separate part of the owners' house, available for guests.

Master Double bedroom: With 4ft 6in double bed, chest of drawers and dressing table.

Family Bathroom: With roll top bath and hand held shower attachment, plus a separate shower cubicle, WC and hand basin. 

Parking: Place for one car directly outside the cottage.

Outside: Several areas to sit outside with table or benches and chairs plus sun loungers.

There is a BBQ stand for disposable BBQs and a Chiminea available on request.

Included: Bed linen and towels are provided but no beach towels so we ask you to bring your own. WiFi, electricity and oil central heating.

Telephone: No land line.  Mobile reception mixed to good.

Pets: The owners regret they cannot accept pets due to allergies.

Local Facilities:  Local pubs and restaurants a few minutes from the property. Bissoe cycle hire and many tracks 6 minutes away. Morgan classic car garage 1 mile. Train station at Peranwell, 1.5 miles away with direct line to Truro and Falmouth. Falmouth National Maritime Museum 7.5 miles.  Truro city 7 miles. Beach at Porthtowan on North Coast 8 miles. Falmouth beaches 20 minutes. Mylor Yacht harbour on the South coast 7 miles. The tropical gardens of Trebar on the Helford river and the NT gardens at Trelissick 9.5 miles. The Lost gardens of Heligan 20 miles. The Eden project under an hour. Minack Theatre 1 hour.
