This detached, stone-fronted holiday home is brimming with character features including exposed beams, low ceilings and exposed brickwork and benefits from off-road parking, a spacious lawn and four well-appointed bedrooms as well as an unbeatable location close to the beach and local amenities; the perfect setting for families or friends looking to explore the wonders of Cornwall with their beloved canine companions. After a full day of exploring, step into your home-from-home and locate the welcoming sitting room where you can unwind and warm your feet by the open fire before heading into a fully-equipped kitchen to rustle up a tasty meal. Dine together around the large dining table and raise a toast to your getaway as the woodburning stove crackles away; if the sun is shining why not enjoy this out on the lawn with the tranquil sound of the trickling stream. When sleep calls, head back to the first floor to choose between a king-size with a handy en-suite shower, a double, a twin and a single; in the morning freshen up in the ground-floor shower room ready for your next adventure. Take a short walk into the heart of Rosudgeon where you can pick up any necessities or simply enjoy a much-needed break from the kitchen with a hearty meal at The Packet Inn Smokehouse. The beach lies a short distance away in Prussia Cove; enjoy the short walk there and spend your time admiring the craggy coastline and the stunning views across the sea. Fine the impressive 630 mile long South West Coast path here and join it to discover quaint coastal villages and town including Marazion where you can make your way over to the iconic St Michael’s Mount to admire the mediaeval ruins and the sub-tropical gardens, Praa Sands, the home of glorious, golden shores and Penzance with its iconic harbour and stunning stretch of promenade. All this and more awaits at Sunnyvale Cottage!

Rosudgeon is a small, semirural village near the coast of Cornwall, located inland between Penzance and Praa Sands. Rosudgeon is perfect for walkers, beachgoers, and those interested in exploring Cornwall's rich cultural and artistic history because it is only a mile from the South West Coast Path. Rosudgeon is home to a general store and a pub known for its excellent, locally sourced food, and just two miles away is the stunning St. Michael's Mount, which dominates the bay. Some of West Cornwall's most breath-taking sights, such as the world-famous Minack Theatre, Land's End, and easy access to the Isles of Scilly, are easily accessible from Penzance. The seafront, with its promenade and open-air, seawater Jubilee Bathing Pool, one of the oldest surviving Art Deco swimming baths, is sure to impress. Rosudgeon is a convenient base from which to explore the rest of Cornwall.

Decent outdoor furniture would have been nice as we had glorious weather but nowhere to eat outside, or even sit comfortably. I think some small investment in this would make this house just fantastic.

Comfortable sofas, beds and good quality linen. The oven was virtually unusable and garden furniture in a sorry state. In the absence of information about bin collection Pure were contacted but never got back to us and an attempt to email them was blocked. Parking would have been extremely tight for two cars.

Location was amazing for us, with easy access to footpaths, coast paths and the local areas & beaches. Very comfortable beds and very clean property. The property who be enhanced with an upgraded cooker / hob (unable to see the dials as they had bene worn off through use), and some decent garden furniture to make the most of the beautiful gardens. (Although this did not affect our holiday). We are planning to stay again.
