Set back a short distance from the shoreline, this cottage offers views of Porthgwarra Cove from a snug window seat tucked away in its open-plan living area. With a double bedroom and ensuite bathroom, ground-floor utility room, and seating area outside, you'll have everything you could need to enjoy a picturesque escape.
Perfect for adventurers, the South West Coastal Path runs through the cove and offers an ideal rambling route for anyone hoping to see more of this dramatic coastline. Birdwatchers will also be able to spot rare seabirds and the occasional chough at Gwenapp Head, which is just a stone's throw away.
Porthgwarra is a small, coastal village resting upon the Penwith Heritage Coast in Southwest Cornwall, near the iconic Land’s End point. Set upon the coastal path, with historical landmarks of Gwennap Head Daymark on route, and with a delightful haven of Porthgwarra Beach within reach, both visitors and locals can enjoy the beauty of the village, before grabbing a bite to eat at Porthgwarra Cove Café. For a hub of amenities, nearby Sennen is home to a convenience store, and the First & Last Inn pub, both reachable via car, along with the Surf Beach Bar, located upon the golden shoreline. Travelling east from the village will bring you to Porthcurno, with beautiful, turquoise waters to take advantage of, where you’ll also locate The Minack Theatre, PK Porthcurno Museum, and the 3 Cove Lookout hiking area, whilst Penzance Promenade is a must for a full day out, brimming with galleries, shops, eateries, and a hub for watersports. The view from the sitting room window looking down the Cove is a real bonus especially for keeping an eye out for the seals! Although the weather was very changeable, it was February after all, it was exhilarating. The Cafe is great too. Staff so helpful and friendly throughout. We would heartily recommend this cottage and location.

We've stayed at Corner Cottage 5 or 6 times in the early 2000's. We're very pleased that we can now include our dog in the holiday - The Welcome hamper, the prints and the fabrics all add to the charm of Corner Cottage.
