Excellent lodge - pet friendly. Ideal for what we needed. Great hot tub

The lodge was lovely. It was very spacious and well kept with stunning views towards the sea. I still can't get over it. It had everything one would need on a break. The kitchen was well stocked with enough crokery and cutlery, it also had a washing machine and dish washer. There was a starters pack for us which had coffee, tea, sugar and milk sachets which was a lovely touch. There was also a box of cookies and a card for us since we went over the Christmas period and was very thoughtful of them. The hot tub was a bliss, water was hot enough and the illumination was beautiful at night. The only area of improvement I feel is that they could do with a better mattress, as it was quite uncomfortable initially. It was too firm and wobbly, but we got used to it eventually. Also would've been nice if they kept a hairdryer and an iron too as it's a staple in many accommodations these days.
