Beautiful location, lovely cream tea on arrival. Accommodation was lovely our only complaint really was the timer settings on the heating system. The heating went on too early in the morning for us and we were woken up from being too hot, and it went off too early in the evening so we had to light the fire to stay warm (which was lovely but seemed a waste). Not having the option to control the times we had the heating on and off was the only notable criticism in a otherwise wonderful stay.

Great location for easy access to Penzance and the Penwith Penninsula. The flat was modern, tastefully decorated with good facilities. Parking is adjacent to the front door and is suitable for 1 large vehicle or two very small vehicles. Access is via a narrow private road. The owners live on site and the flat lis fully maintained by Sykes. We experienced a minor maintainence issue and this was promptly resolved by Skye’s with the owner also following up to ensure “all was well”. We visited just before Christmas and felt the flat was “great value for money”. We would happily rebook at this location.

This track is badly maintained with large potholes before turning right onto another track to the property which can only be described as a glorified farm track just wide enough for 1 car.The photos are misleading as the place where the picnic table is situated is where you park the car,and the wooden structure is the owners garden shed which is next to the kitchen window. The property itself was clean and comfortable, but being a basement apartment suffers from condensation meaning you have to open all the windows in the morning or come back to a fusty smelling property, and has a dehumidifier running in one of the bedrooms to try to combat this. The stream at the side of the property and woodland probably doesn’t help with this. This property also has no proper rubbish bins meaning you have to separate all your rubbish into different coloured rubbish sacks and leave them outside.Penzance has excellent transport links with a mainline railway station with the bus station and tourist information next to it.It also has a fantastic promenade with a heated open air swimming pool at one end,or just behind the railway station is a walking/cycling path to Marazion where St Micheal’s mount is.
