This detached, 19th-century, beamed cottage, with a small and private south-facing garden, is set in the heart of a picturesque village that overlooks Mounts Bay. There is a village pub nearby also, ideal for a drink after a busy day exploring. St Michaels Mount can be seen from the double bedroom. It is just 2 miles from Penzance, with pubs and restaurants. The nearby village of Heamoor has a shop, bakery, fish & chip shop and pub. The National Trust gardens at Trengwainton are a 10-minute walk away. A comfortable and quiet base for exploring west Cornwall, walkers will enjoy the coastal footpath. There are sandy beaches at Sennen, St Ives and Porthcurno with Minack open air theatre. Day trips are available to the Isles of Scilly by air or sea. Pubs and restaurants 2 miles.

Lovely peaceful location, comfortable and snug. Enclosed garden for dogs which is great and owners really helpful. Lots of local walks and Penzance a short drive away. This was our second visit and we felt very at home

Enclosed garden so dogs couldn't escape, we were comfortable and had everything we needed. Great location for visiting Penzance and Marazion, lovely walk from the house to the holy well of st Madron Owners friendly and helpful.

Our stay at Chy-Vean cottage was lovely despite the unkind weather. There was everything we should need and a very comfortable environment with beautifully furnished and decorated rooms. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend to others and hope to return next year.
