From here, a few steps lead up into the cosy king-size bedroom with a window overlooking the lounge. Popping outside, the enclosed patio terrace has plenty of seating and makes a charming spot for dining alfresco and enjoying glimpses towards the sea. A handy outdoor tap is on hand for washing wetsuits and sandy paws and toes, and there’s also a useful secure wooden outbuilding for storing surfboards and bikes.

The cottage lies within easy reach of the beautiful beach at Sennen Cove, with a range of great pubs, cafes and restaurants nearby. Perfectly situated for exploring West Cornwall, the cottage is just a couple of miles from Land’s End. The area offers a host of popular attractions including the coastal Minack Theatre (4.5 miles), The Merry Maidens Stone Circle, Carn Euny Ancient Village (both 6.5 miles), Tanglewood Wild Garden (8 miles) and Trengwainton Garden (9.5 miles). The bustling town of Penzance (9 miles) is to the east.
