Walking just over a mile into the centre of Penzance can bring you to a wide range of choice for shops, restaurants and pubs, with some lying right by the harbour so you could watch the boats come and go as you tuck into something tasty. On a sunny day, head over to the Jubilee Pool for a dip in this triangular Art Deco inspired lido, or hire a deckchair to soak up the rays as the children make a splash. Move a little further out to Marazion, around 10-miles away and enjoy a special evening meal watching the sunset over St Michael's Mount, a truly magical experience you will treasure. Other places within easy reach include, Newlyn, Porthcurno, Land's End and Sennen Cove, so you will be sure to have your days packed with activities. Heamoor is a small village close to the larger town of Penzance, lying just over a mile away. Hosting a pub and a shop as well as some other small businesses and schools, this area is great to have as a base to explore the delights of Cornwall. Marazion is just over 6-miles away where you can delight in walking up to St Michael's Mount when the tide is out, or travel down to Porthcurno to catch a show at the Minack Theatre, or simply stroll into Penzance to watch the boats in the picturesque Penzance Harbour.
