This was my first solo holiday, and I deliberatly went at the end of season. The chalet was in a lovely ladnscaped garden along with several others, but I and another couple were the only ones stying in the location. It was very peaceful, if you dont mind the occasional airoplane, tractor and gardening noises. These didnt bother me.The chalet/cottage was clean and fully equiped, rooms are a nice size.I underatand from the owner that new windows are being installed in the next month or two, so its nice to know the place is well maintained. There are 7 gorgeous beaches close by and Padstow is just up the road.I would stay again, but not in high season as would be too crowded and noisy for me.I forgot to leave a note in the guest book but i enjoyed my stay.

The cleaners need a rocket up them .Cobwebs can appear overnight, but not covered in dust! The place was tired and dated. We had a problem with the bottle holder in the antiquated fridge freezer falling off as it had been badly repaired with glue .When we reported it to the caretaker he said he would order a new one the next day . When we left the property 12 days later there was still no replacement. In this day and age we would expect a smart TV as a minimum for what we were charged , not a 20 year old tv/DVD combo with a separate DVD player as the integrated one was knackered. Oh and no washing machine but an outdoor airer to dry your things was a bit of an odd one . Shame as the location is okay .
