Stepper point is in a good location near Padstow. We had a lovely week in Cornwall. But the lodge is in need of some updating and maintenance. A curtain pole fell down several times as there were no screws fixing it to bracket. The gas hob didn't always light. The property details state 3 and 2 seater sofas, but only a 2 seater and 2 single chairs were there. We didn’t use the outside table as paint flaking off badly. Flooring needs attention. Shower in en-suite needs fixing properly to wall. I don’t think it’s worth the money I paid.

Although as the advert states this property has three bedrooms and two bathrooms and is a good size for a family holiday there are a few things that need attention and would make us give a much better review. The advert states that the seating in the lounge is different to what it actually is. All three bedrooms had torn blinds. The outside decking and table was not used as the surface was flaking badly and one leg on the table was broken, it needs attention. The door shelf of the fridge was broken. There were only three tumbler glasses. And as for the wifi well that was non existent- I even paid £10 for the week and it didn’t work - that needs to be mentioned on the advertisement too. It was our third year visiting Cornwall and the first property that we had stayed in that had no welcome pack or small gift to welcome us to our holiday - we only found the small instructions that there was by searching cupboards on our arrival. We were also not given instructions as to where the property was on the park.
