About this property

Located on the prestigious Padstow Holiday Village, just a mile and a half from Padstow town and harbour, is Piran Lodge. This well-presented, single-storey lodge provides a great place to call home while exploring the North Coast of Cornwall, with a beach accessible in two miles. After a day of exploring, make your way inside and get comfortable in the open-plan living space, catching up on the TV and reflecting on the holiday thus far. Cross the threshold into the kitchen, where you can rustle up a feast and utilise a range of appliances, including the gas oven and hob, microwave, fridge/freezer, and there’s dishwasher to help with cleaning up! Serve up a tasty meal at the dining table, or head outside and dine alfresco style upon the patio furniture, ideal on a balmy evening. Freshen up in the family bathroom, complete with bath and shower over, before choosing between a double or twin bedroom to catch your rest. Make use of the fabulous on-site and local facilities which include a children's play area, outdoor shower and a selection of eateries including takeaways, Craftworks where you can dine alfresco or undercover of a tipi and the Prawn on the Lawn restaurant which lies paces away. Once you’re ready to explore, follow the Camel Trail, embark on a walk across the neighbouring fields, or explore the coastline some more by partaking in the Seven Bays for Seven Days challenge. Enjoy a leisurely walk across the rolling fields into Padstow town centre and choose from a range of excellent restaurants and pubs or pick up a portion of fish and chips and wander down to the harbour. Remember to pack your seaside equipment as the excellent surfing beaches of Harlyn and Constantine are ideal for safe family fun, while the Camel Ski school and Rock sailing club are nearby and are perfect for those seeking a bit of adventure. If you want a day further inland make your way to the nearest town Wadebridge a market town with plenty of shops, cafés, restaurants, and pubs. Piran Lodge is a true gem and makes for a unforgettable base to explore all of Cornwall!

A great starting point for exploring the South West Coastal Path, which opens up routes to the stunning Cornish countryside, is Padstow, which is located at the beginning of the Camel Cycle Trail. This charming fishing port is flanked by beautiful beaches and provides many possibilities to sample the regional cuisine at places run by famous people. Padstow offers activities for everyone, including fishing, strolling, cycling, and taking trips on local fishermen's boats. For family-friendly activities, the superb surfing beaches of Harlyn and Constantine are suitable. A golf course is also located nearby in Constantine Bay, and Daymer Bay's beach is accessible via a passenger boat that runs from Padstow to Rock. The surfing mecca of Polzeath is only around the corner towards Pentire Head, and when the beach no longer calls, there are surrounding golf courses, various elegant residences, and gardens to explore. Just over 20 miles separate you from the magnificent Eden Project.
