The place was cheap, but I would say not good value for money for a number of reasons, outlined below in the Bad and Good sections. Bad - black mould on the bedroom curtains- Black mould in the bathroom- Loose wooden planks in the bathroom- Lots of Cobwebs in every room and in the cupboards, even immediately after checking in- Cabinet in bathroom was loose- Not enough toilet roll- No salt and pepper in the salt and pepper shakers- No bar or shop on site, despite this being advertised- No member of staff seen on site- Very poor communication with the host, virtually no communication at all. Tried to contact the host about checking in but there was no reply. Even rang the holiday park and was told it was nothing to do with them as it was a private booking, which is fair enough. But there was no means to actually get in touch with the host. Even the company itself tried.Good- shower had good pressure and looked new- Washing machine with 2 pods supplied- Quiet site, for the week commencing 12th May 2025Overall, the place was dated, definitely in need of some touch ups, new curtains/blinds, and a good clean. Not acceptable really to have mould on the curtains of a place up for hire to the general public. Felt let down by the fact that it was advertised to have a restaurant/bar on site, but upon arrival, this was not the case, only a delapidated building that may have once been a bar? The chalet is up for sale so this might be why the host has decided to let some of the finer bits go, such as the hygiene. But not very good
