Welcome to Lodge 133, a modern and spacious lodge sitting proudly within Atlantic Bays Holiday Park. Popular with families and just a short drive from some of the most iconic beaches, fishing ports and coastal towns in the county, this is the ideal base from which to set off and explore this incredible part of Cornwall.
The lodge greets you with an open plan living space, with a comfortable sofa and twin chairs to settle down and relax, a dining area and a very well-equipped kitchen. There are two bedrooms, one boasting a bunk bed (double on bottom, single above), and the other a lovely double bed. The family bathroom has a bath for a leisurely soak after a day of adventures, with an electric shower over. There is picnic-style seating outside on a small patio area, where coffee or a glass of wine can be enjoyed as the day draws to a close. On-site there is a shop selling all the essentials and much more.
Further afield, the spectacular beaches of Porthcothan and Treyanon Bay await your discovery, whilst Pentire Steps and Harlyn Bay are a joy to behold. Padstow, iconic and renowned for its celebrity chef-inspired restaurants, boutique shops and narrow streets, is a must-visit. From here you can hire a bicycle and follow the famous Camel Trail through woodland and glades, revealing beautiful scenery hidden from busy roads. Newquay, a haven for all things watersports related, has many bars, pubs and themed restaurants, with spectacular vistas and attractions including a zoo, an all-weather aquarium and Fistral Beach, a surfers’ paradise! Beach 3 miles.

There is now a bar available on site which has been put in place whilst the existing building storm damage is assessed.

We enjoyed our week at the chalet. Easy to find on the site with only a short walk from the nearest car parking. Lovely and peaceful chalet on the edge of the holiday park. Chalet was clean, tidy and spacious whilst the site felt safe for the kids with plenty of space for them to go and explore. Good communications and instructions from the host. Perfect location to explore the Padstow / Wadebridge area and centrally located in Cornwall allowing day trips acros the county. The good weather helped!

The lodge was located near lots of beaches and bays within 15mins there was a little town not much there a little bakery which was beautiful, Aldi 15/20mins away which was god.Padstow close by that had supermarkets too Newquay and perranporth 30minsThe lodge inside was clean, plates bowls needed a clean before using, bed sheets clean, rooms clean, tv in little bedroom didn’t work but no matter, Tv worked in living room.Nice clean oven and microwave and kettle, cupboards didn’t have a lot but what we needed.The blinds were old and needed replacing and the light shone through at 6am not ideal. The outside needed a clean and refurb, the decking was unsafe in parts and there was cobwebs and spiders all over the windows.I’d stay here again we loved out holiday No phone signal for me at the cabin all week, no WiFi on site.No shop on siteLittle bar which was pretty cheap Park which was lovely.Overall good

Chalet 133 was exactly as described and pictured with plenty of room for a family. Was great that bed linen and towels were provided. Well equipped kitchen, lovely shower and as the chalet is tucked away on the edge is lovely and peaceful. Location is great for the beaches and exploring the area, will not hesitate to book again. Thank you for a great holiday!
