With the busy fishing port of Padstow just a few miles distant, with it’s superb restaurants and boutique shops. Newquay, the vibrant seaside town with an array of stunning beaches lies just to the south. Here water sports rule supreme with surfing to the fore.
You enter into an open plan living space with super comfy three seat sofa and chair, ideal for sinking into after a day of discovery, along with TV, whilst the smart, functional kitchen, has all you need for whipping up breakfast or a little alfresco dining. The accommodation includes a bedroom with bunks including a lower double and a peaceful double room. The family bathroom boasts a bath for that special leisurely soak, with the convenience of a shower overhead.
Outside, a picnic bench-style seating area at the front of the property provides a lovely spot for enjoying your morning coffee or perhaps favourite tipple as you recount your day’s adventures. Venture away from your holiday home and visit endless opportunities for exploration. Cliff top walks and captivating views await you. Discover the renowned ‘seven bays for seven days’ or immerse yourself in the buzzing atmosphere of Padstow, famous for its eclectic mix of restaurants, galleries, and narrow, charming streets.
The golden sandy beaches of Portcothan, Treyanon Bay and Harlyn Bay Beach are just a few miles away, offering fantastic water sports and idyllic spots for lazing the day away. Uncover rock pools for all ages to explore, coves and caves once upon a time, a smugglers haunt. From Padstow, embark on the famous Camel Trail, which winds through picturesque woodland and glades, revealing breathtaking scenery hidden from the busy roads. Newquay, a haven for water sports enthusiasts, boasts numerous bars, pubs, and themed restaurants, alongside spectacular attractions such as a zoo, an all-weather aquarium, and the legendary Fistral Beach, a surfer’s paradise. Very difficult to find this cottage. No map was provided and no one was present to assist. We were searching for this cottage for 2 hrs. Accommodation itself was very small and age old amenities.
