The Hartland Lodge is a bright and spacious lodge on the Newperran Resort, in the village of Goonhavern, Cornwall situated between Newquay and Perranporth and a short drive to the glorious beachs of Crantock and Holywell Bay. On-site is an indoor heated swimming pool, bar and restaurant, off-road parking, and easy access to all Cornwall's coast and many attractions to explore, this contemporary lodge suits a family of four looking for their next adventure. Be welcomed by the open-plan living area with plenty of natural light and all the home comforts; whip up home-cooked suppers in the kitchen area complete with a range cooker, washing machine, dishwasher and full-length double larder. Gather at the table for four to plan the day's adventures over a hearty breakfast, or why not set up on the terrace with outdoor seating. You can open the patio doors on warmer days to let the outside into the sitting area with cushioned seats, a 43” HD TV, and an electric fire for those colder nights. After sandy beach days, freshen up in the shower room, and make yourself at home in one of two bedrooms. The master king-size has a TV that rises up at the end of the bed, perfect for those slower mornings watching your favourite show, as well as an en-suite shower room, whilst the twin room is just next door. The village of Goonhavern is nearby to stock up at the supermarket, and if you're looking for a day by the sea, Perranporth is a must. Perranporth Golf Club, long sandy beaches, and opportunities for surfing and paddle boarding ensure there's something for everyone, as well as plenty of popular eateries to choose from. St. Agnes Heritage Coast is close by for scenic coastal walks, or perhaps you'd prefer a day out at Healey's Cornish Cyder Farm with tours and a petting zoo, something for the whole family! Holywell and its picturesque, sandy bay is ideal for quieter escapes, whilst the bustling town of Newquay is home to Newquay Zoo, Newquay Golf Club, and Blue Reef Aquarium, plus the nearby Trerice, a 16h-century, National Trust-owned manor. Goonhavern is a small Cornish village situated 1.5 miles inland from Perranporth, the setting for Winston Graham's Poldark novels, written in the 1930s. Goonhavern has a traditional inn, a village shop, a garden centre, and a playground. Known for producing the finest tin, the community still has abandoned pump houses, mine shafts, and workers homes. Perranporth has a lovely sandy beach that spans for three miles at low tide, backed by rugged cliffs ideal for rock pooling. The beach is lifeguarded in the summer and hosted the 2016 British National Surfing Championships. The Watering Hole, a unique pub situated on the sand in the midst of the beach, offers live entertainment, superb food and a spectacular view of the sunset! Visit the Blue Hills and Perranzabuloe Folk Museums to learn more about this coastal region's rich heritage. The National Trust owns much of the land around St Agnes, including the kilometres of sandy beaches at Crantock and Holywell Bay.
