It is on a private section of the park known as Nelsons Lake, only accessible via a swipe card barrier access. 1 of 20 new luxury lodges all overlooking the lake. This area of the park is quiet and peaceful but still allowing access to the many facilities of the park. Enter into a stylish open-plan living areawhere your down time will be spent when you’re not out exploring this fine area. The floor to ceiling frontage of the property is fully glazed with patio doors looking out onto the lake just 50 yds from the terrace, with an abundance of wildlife and changing scenery. Step onto your front terrace with a morning coffee or an evening cool local cider and experience that relaxed Cornish holiday feeling. Gather around the large flat screen TV with Sound-bar and DVD player and enjoy a cosy film night. The Lodge also has a Sky dish and cables installed, so if you are a Sky customer bring along your box and never miss that ‘Never-miss’ event ! The Lodge was originally a show home and consequently is fully loaded with top quality equipment. The kitchen with views over the lake has dishwasher, washing machine, fridge, freezer, electric oven, gas hob, microwave, 4 slice toaster, kettle and nice touches like USB charging plug sockets. The sleeping arrangements are ideal for families, comprising a master bedroom with a smart en-suite and two twins. All Bedrooms have TV’s and USB charging plug sockets. All Linen is included in the rental price A stunning family bathroom completes the interior of this fabulous Holiday home. To the rear of the property is open countryside, with neatly kept lawns. There are two lockable storage boxes for fishing tackle and beach gear. With 11 fishing lakes onsite and even an onsite tackle shop for all your bait and spare tackle there is no need for forward planning. The fishery is one of the finest in the UK and the owner who is a keen fisherman can give expert advice on any level of fishing. You don’t have to be a fisherman to enjoy the beauty of the lakes and there are well kept paths for walking around the lakes and spotting the wildlife.There is a fabulous lakeside café aptly named ‘First-Bites’ that serves Breakfasts overlooking the lakes, a short stroll from the Lodge. A permit costing £12/£15 per week (depending on season) can be purchased from reception, this entitles guests to unlimited access to the indoor heated pool, sauna, Jacuzzi, gym and to evening access to the clubhouse The clubhouse offers entertainment, Italian restaurant, and bar, Wi-Fi, Costa, ten pin bowling and an arcade for the Children. Likewise if you fancy fishing, a day permit, weekly permit or family permit can be purchased from the onsite tackle shop. The owners, Geoff and Jane lived in France for 30 years and were one of Brittany Ferries most successful Bed and Breakfast and Gite owners. They understand what guests want on their holiday and will communicate with you prior to your arrival to tailor any special requests you may have in advance. They also supply, free of charge, a welcome pack on arrival. There will be enough for you to immediately relax on arrival, and not be wasting time shopping after your travelling down to Cornwall. How many times do you arrive at a holiday property to have to make a list of simple necessities and have the stress of shopping? They also understand the importance of supplying simple things like dishwasher tablets, washing machine liquid, tea and coffee, salt and pepper, toilet rolls, cooking foil, washing up liquid. There will also be a basic stock of simple things like spices, pasta, tinned beans etc. This is supplied on a use some/leave some on-going basis. Giving you that home from home feeling. Jane is a professional Watercolour artist and sells her paintings in some of the top Galleries in the area. One of which is Karenza in nearby Padstow. If you fancy a Watercolour lesson from Jane this can be arranged. She will come to the Lodge and supply all that you need Her charges range from £10/£15 an hour depending on how many in your party, this includes all materials. Some of Cornwall’s finest attractions are all within easy access of the Lodge, just 5 minutes off the A30 linking you to anywhere in Cornwall. Nearby attractions include Newquay, famous for its surfing and fine sandy beaches. Just 10 mins drive from the Lodge. Wadebridge 15 mins away. A hidden Gem where many go to hire a bike and cycle on the well maintained Camel trail to nearby Padstow. The stunning fishing village made famous by Rick Stein, enjoy a Cornish ice-cream whilst doing a spot of crabbing off the harbour wall. Cycle upstream on the Camel trail to Bodmin, famous for its Jail, Steam railway and many other attractions and National Trust Sites. Nearby also are the Eden project, Saint Austell, Mevagissey, Perranporth, Padstow, Saint Ives and the famous Saint Michaels Mount. How about a day out in Port Isaac at just 30mins drive, 17 miles up the coast. Well known for the popular Doc Martin TV series. Charlestown Harbour which is a UNESCO world heritage site. An 18th century Georgian harbour, yet it is still a working harbour. Many TV series have been shot here and you can see tall ships, beautiful beaches, a coastal walk and some great places to eat and drink whilst enjoying the breath-taking views. Again only 30 mins drive away. This high quality lodge is set in such a tranquil spot surrounded by nature, but ideally situated as a central hub with access to so many of Cornwall’s attractions. The Lodge has a guests folder with many suggestions and leaflets ready for you to peruse and plan a few days out .Or just stay onsite and relax.

This charming village rests in the heart of Cornwall, within easy reach of the popular seaside resort of Newquay. The village itself hosts a small selection of spots to shop and grab a bite to eat.
