No smoking. VisitEngland 4-Star Award.. Ash Lodge is a brilliantly spacious and bright three bedroom lodge, refurbished in 2019 and set within the family friendly Retallack Resort. This welcoming lodge is set in a wonderful location, whether you want to relax in stunning rural Cornwall or visit the famous coastline nearby.
When you step inside, you’ll be greeted by a large open plan living, kitchen and dining area which becomes flooded with natural light. Whether you want to prepare a delicious home cooked meal for the family, gather around the table or relax in front of the TV with a good film, this is the most inviting space. Ash Lodge also has three cosy bedrooms, two bathrooms, and an additional living and dining area on the first floor which opens out onto a delightful private balcony.
From the living area you can step through the sliding doors onto your own private, decked terrace. On a sunny day you can sit on the comfy chairs, sheltered under the parasol and enjoy a glass of wine or a bite to eat. There’s even a barbecue provided for those summer festivities.
If you don’t fancy venturing too far away from the lodge, there’s plenty on your doorstep to keep you occupied. On-site you’ll find a restaurant and bar, pitch and putt, tennis court and for the adventurous, the Flow Rider wave machine. To see more of the stunning beauty that Cornwall has to offer, you won’t have to travel far to reach picturesque Padstow and its fantastic restaurants.

Great lodge in fab position. Very private and well located for facilities on Retallack. Big downside for us was no dishwasher. Makes a holiday into hard work. Great value for a spacious property though

Had a great stay at Ash Lodge. Lovely arrival treat of scones and Jams. Located on a great park, we used the pool that was lovely and tennis courts. Daughter loved the little arcade and play park.Great location and new location for us so found some new beaches we hadn’t been before and also enjoyed the Slip and slide that was popped up for the summer months near by. Lodge is great value, very big and airy and clean and lovely decked areas for morning coffee. Only things that are very minor would be great if it had a dishwasher and an outside light on the back would have been handy as we couldn’t see in the evening when sat out there and a few more small glasses would have been a bonus. Would 100% stay again though. Great lodge in a great area for exploring.

The location was excellent. Not too far from any beaches either side of Cornwall. Lovely walks on site.The lodge was lovely and spacious. Although there were little things that could have been improved upon. There was a large tear in the duvet cover and the upstairs shower is weak but downstairs the shower was excellent.It could do with a dishwasher especially as it sleeps 6 comfortably - that’s a lot of dishes to wash.Brilliant speaker available to use, lovely outside furniture with cushions stored inside. A few games available to use and leaflets to advertise what’s available around the area.We would return.
