About this property

Sands Beach House gives sea-view a whole new meaning in this stunning private home overlooking the golden sands of the Newquay coastline.  From the warm fires of the terrace to the cosy warmth of the bedrooms, guests can enjoy uninterrupted Atlantic throughout the property.  Perfect for any season, the stylish and comfortable design can house up to ten guests in idyllic coastal luxury.

After a day soaking up the sun on Newquay’s sandy beaches why not catch the final rays on a sun lounger on your private terrace with a Cornish ale in hand.  Made for outdoor living, the terrace boasts gas-fired dining tables and patio heaters allowing guests to enjoy al fresco dining even in chillier climes.

Inside the open plan living area offers a feature wall fireplace, where you can sink into the huge four-seater sofas with a hot chocolate from the Hotel Chocolat Velvistiser.  A well-equipped kitchen offers juicers, waffle-makers, coffee machines and more, allowing you to cook up a feast to be enjoyed at the ten-seater dining table while you watch the boats bob on the ocean through the vast three-quarter length windows.

From Egyptian cotton linens, you can relax and enjoy the sea view from one of five luxuriously appointed double rooms.  Whilst the master bathroom is heaven sent with a deep soaker bath that overlooks the ocean.

Centrally located the beach house is close to the buzz of the Newquay nightlife, yet benefits from a discreet location, nestled in the cliffs overlooking the beach, offering privacy and tranquillity for guests to unwind and relax.  Just a two-minute walk to the nearest beach, the property is only a short drive to some of the best shorelines in Britain including surfers’ paradise Fistral Beach.

The bustling seaside town of Newquay has something for everyone and even benefits from its own airport, under thirty minutes from the centre of town.  The house is just a two-minute stroll to the nearest beach, where crystal clear waves await your enjoyment from swimming, paddleboarding, water-skiing and boat rides.

As the surfing mecca of the UK, Newquay is home to Britain’s premiere surfing spot, Fistral Beach.  World renowned it plays host to the Boardmasters International Surf Competition each year, whilst out of the water Fistral and nearby Watergate Bay are the place to be for the annual five-day music festival, Boardmasters.

A gateway to the wild beauty of Cornwall, there is a plethora of local beaches and beauty spots.  Crantoch Beach is a must see with its epic sand dunes, perfect for exploring, if you venture onto the footpaths to Polly Joke Beach you might even spot some local seals sunning themselves on the secluded shore.  Watergate Bay offers two miles of golden sand and a more peaceful environment whilst a short drive will take you to the perfect rock-pooling spot at Porth Beach.  Make sure you head out on the narrow footbridge to Porth Island for stunning views of the Cornish coastline. Or take a visit to nearby National-Trust owned Trerice, a charming Elizabethan manor with picture perfect gardens, perched just outside of Newquay

If you’re looking for a day trip, the charming coastal town of Padstow is just a thirty-minute drive away.  Try your hand at crabbing in the harbour, grab yourself a local pasty for lunch or take a boat trip over to nearby Rock.  The Eden Project in St. Austell is only a forty-minute drive, a perfect spot for families where you can walk amongst the dramatic tropical biomes and experience the sights and smells of the rainforest.   Or take a day trip to St. Ives, the Cornish home of the Tate Gallery to check out exhibits of both famous and local artists.

If you’re looking for a night out, Newquay has plenty to offer.  Just a short walk from your doorstep you’ll find Moules and Co, grab a table or get yourself a takeaway of mouth-watering moules, the best in town!  Why not move the party on to local cocktail bar Tom Thumb where house blended vermouths and syrups are served by expert mixologists.  If you’re looking to sample some local seafood why not order your own freshly caught and cooked lobster or crab from the Fernpit Café fresh from the water straight to your plate!

Wow - perfect house with perfect views in the perfect location. The owners' thought of everything to make our stay truly memorable for all of us. The location right on top of the beach meant there were a whole range of activities to suit all ages. The super Sup paddle board and boat ride were fab as was our 5 minute trip to get to Fistral beach. And at the end of a busy day, it was such a treat to sit and watch the sunset from the decking at the house. The pictures look amazing but nothing does justice to seeing the views first hand. Thank you so much. We will be back
