Positioned between Watergate Bay and Newquay, Porth Beach is best-known for its safe swimming and family-friendly vibe. The beach is lifeguarded all year round and the shallows are perfect for tots and toddlers to splash around in. The long tidal drop reveals many beautiful rock pools and due to its position between two headlands it is very sheltered. Across the road from the beach is Roo's Beach Hut where visitors can stock up on fishing nets, buckets and sun cream while on the opposite side of the car park is Café Coast for cream teas and ice cream in the sunshine.

For guests hoping to take to the waves, the renowned surfing beach at Watergate Bay is a five-ish minute drive to the north, and the famous Fistral Beach is about 10 minutes in the opposite direction. Newquay’s other beaches including Lusty Glaze, Tolcarne and Great Western are also within easy reach as are the town’s various restaurants, surf shops and spa.

The kitchen is open plan with the dining area and features an overhead window that floods the space with light. Fitted with modern white units it offers a range of cooking utensils, pots, pans, crockery and cutlery are provided as well as a microwave, electric cooker with ceramic hob, fan assisted oven and grill, fridge / freezer, Nespresso coffee machine, cafetiere, kettle, toaster, iron and ironing board

The sumptuous main bedroom features a double bed, side tables and reading lamps, a chest of drawers and hanging space for clothes. This room has its own en-suite shower room
