There are three bedrooms; two on the ground floor and the third on the first floor, with two offering flexible zip and link beds to cater for all your needs. An en-suite shower room and family bathroom is ideal, where you can enjoy a long soak or invigorating shower after a day at the surf school. The generous open-plan living space is well- designed for family and friends to enjoy social gatherings around the dining table and relax on sofas. You can take in the glorious views from the decked balcony, an idyllic spot to plan the day ahead with a morning coffee, while the smart kitchen has all the appliances for rustling up a Cornish feast. Three Newquay beaches offer a myriad of activities; you can swim, surf and build sandcastles, while Lusty Glaze is a picturesque cove with high cliffs and Towan beach offers one of the liveliest resorts for surf and music venues. Great Western Beach lies north of Towan Beach, a quieter venue popular with families and surfers, with coves offering some seclusion. Newquay is the home of the UK’s surf scene, boasting three major beaches, the National Surf Centre. The town, with its zoo, Sea Life centre and varied selection of restaurants and pubs, promises a holiday to remember. The South West Coast Path passes in both directions along a coastline, Padstow is just 14 miles away, while Truro offers its museums, cathedral, restaurants and cobbled streets.

We were not disappointed the split level apartment is just lovely, with everything we needed. There are 2 bedrooms and bathroom/en-suite on the ground floor, with the living/kitchen and another bedroom on the first floor. There was plenty of room for our family of 3. The views from the first floor living area and balcony are just fabulous, even at night watching the lights across the bay. It was quiet and we didnât see any of the other residents whilst we were there. The beds were comfy, arranged as requested and we all slept very well, waking late most mornings. The apartment is within easy 5 min walking distance of Lusty Gaze and Tolcane beaches and is a good 30 min walk or 5 min drive to Friskal. We came for the surf, which didnât arrive until Wednesday and we went to Friskal as the surf was better, but it is possible to surf/body board on the other beaches. We also walked to Porth which is further away but a nice walk along the coast. Itâs about 10 min walk into Newquay town, with plenty of restaurant options. There is also a Tesco express and local bakery within a few minutes walk. The hosts Jacky and Dave were so welcoming and provided the best welcome pack weâve ever had, which was very much appreciated after a 5 hour drive! They kept in contact during the week to check we had settled in and that everything was okay. Thank you Jacky and Dave for making our stay the perfect get away we needed, we will be back!

It was in a perfect location to explore Newquay and other towns in Cornwall and the parking was a huge bonus. Absolutely beautiful views every day to look out to and the apartment itself was very comfortable and clean. Very good communication with the hosts before and during our stay, keeping us updated and the welcome pack with gifts provided from them at the beginning of our stay was very thoughtful and we would definitely stay here again! Thank you so much for a lovely holiday.

Very spacious, we immediately felt welcome with the basket of provisions left for us by the owners which saved us going to the local shop after a seven hour long journey! Whilst the "Great British Summertime " wasn't behaving itself the week we came, the property was a great base to explore Cornwall. We would recommend this property to anyone and would return here next time we visit. Brian & Julie Matthews. Nottinghamshire.
