Recently renovated in 2022, this beautiful cottage is tucked away in the countryside, yet only 1.5 miles from the beach making this a great base for families and friends alike to explore this scenic part of Cornwall.

Positioned in a small hamlet just inland from the stunning north coast, take a stroll to Poly Joke or Holywell Bay which has been used for filming Poldark, or the rugged coastline on the South West Coast Path. The cottage is also only 5 miles from the pretty beach at Perranporth, which happens to have the only bar on the beach in Cornwall. Head towards Newquay with more beaches and restaurants to enjoy, including Rick Steins Fish and Chips at Fistral Beach. Crantock Bay is 1.5 miles in the other direction, ideal for stand up paddleboarding and kayaking or a peaceful evening walk. Location wise you couldn't be more central! There are so many beautiful places nearby for a fabulous day out. Upon arrival, enter through the porch and into the stunning kitchen/diner. An excellent social space to catch up with family, the dining table has seating for four to enjoy a cooked meal with some locally brought delights. The kitchen area is equipped with everything you ll need, including two electric ovens and an induction hob, microwave, coffee machine, dishwasher, fridge/freezer and washing machine. Enjoy morning coffee at the breakfast bar whilst planning your day ahead. Head through to the cosy yet spacious lounge with vaulted ceilings, an exposed red brick fireplace and a wood burner (first basket of logs provided). Get comfy on one of two sofas and watch a film on the Apple TV. There s also a snug room with various books and a sofa to relax on. From here you ll find the shower room with a shower and WC. Upstairs are the king and twin bedrooms with tasteful interiors, vaulted ceilings and plenty of storage. To complete the accommodation is a contemporary bathroom with a free standing bath, separate waterfall shower with attachment and WC. Double doors from the lounge lead out onto the patio garden, which is enclosed and private, with seating to dine alfresco with the charcoal BBQ on the go. From the kitchen/diner, a pathway leads around the side of the property and there is a raised garden area. There is driveway parking for two cars. Please note, two small/medium size dogs are accepted.
