Enter the open-plan living space, where you can unwind on the corner sofa, enjoy mealtimes together at the dining table and catch-up on shows on the wall-mounted TV. The contemporary, matte-black kitchen has everything you need for a self-catered stay, such as a range master cooker to prepare home-cooked meals. Patio doors lead out to the decking; here you can melt your stresses away in the hot tub or savour a glass of wine on the furniture. As the evening winds to an end, retire inside and choose between two light and airy bedrooms, a double with an en-suite and a twin bedroom, both with TVs. Goonhavern is a small Cornish village just 2.5 miles inland from Perranporth, the setting for Winston Graham's Poldark novels. Goonhavern has an inn, village shop, garden centre, and playground. The community, once known for its tin, still has abandoned pump houses, mine shafts, and workers' cottages. Perranporth has a three-mile-long sandy beach and craggy rocks for rock pooling. In summer, the beach is lifeguarded and hosts the British National Surfing Championships. Perranporth has a small selection of shops, restaurants, and pubs, including The Watering Hole, a beachfront pub with live entertainment, good food, and a stunning sunset view. It has a great amount of space for the kids and the dog. 10 mins away from Perranporth and Newquay so perfect for days out. The shower is unbelievable it might be a little thing but it is better than the one I have at home. I would definitely recommend this lodge and if we hadn't already booked another in April we would definitely be coming back.

Property was very clean and tidy with everything you need. There is a folder with a guide of places to visit .Met the owner there was most helpful with information would highly recommend this property to family and friends.

Bedding and towels need an upgrade they feel rather worn and past their best. Hot tub well maintained and very clean thank you would return again.
