3 The Boat House is a beautifully renovated first-floor apartment located in Cornwall's popular holiday spot, Helford Passage. Sleeping four guests in two bedrooms, 3 The Boat House boasts super river views from the living and dining areas, yet provides a tranquil retreat away from the bustle of the river and beach activities. Decorated in cool neutrals, this well-equipped and inviting apartment offers a space to relax at the end of a busy day. 3 The Boathouse is a super choice for a small family wanting to experience a traditional seaside holiday, but would also suit a couple looking to explore the local gardens or walk the South West Coast Path, relaxing in the evening with a locally sourced meal from the Ferry Boat inn.

Helford Passage nestles on the banks of the beautiful river Helford, with a sandy beach and direct access to the South West Coastal Path.  There’s plenty to do on site including hire of kayaks or paddle boards to get you out on the water, or there’s the heated outdoor swimming pool (open from May 1st until the end of September).  The Ferryboat Inn specialises in seafood dishes and holds regular music and quiz nights. The local ferry can take you across to pretty Helford village where you can meander along the shore to explore Daphne Du Maurier’s Frenchman’s Creek.  Alternatively relax and enjoy good food at the welcoming Shipwrights Arms in Helford or venture further afield to the Historic Falmouth, rugged Land’s End or the gardens of Trebah and Glendurgan. All the traditional attractions of a Cornish Holiday such as nearby fishing trips, golf, cycling, horse-riding, seaside fish and chips, coastal walks, art galleries and stunning beaches make this a perfect base for couples or families all year round.

Accommodation:

Sixteen external steps to front door. Front door opens into hallway with luggage space and spiral staircase.

Open-plan living room with two sofas and one tub chair. Sky TV, dining table for four and super river views.

A Fully equipped kitchen with electric oven, hob, fridge freezer, washing machine, kettle, toaster and Magimix coffee maker.

Master bedroom with 4ft 6 double bed and wardrobe. Door to en-suite shower room with shower cubicle, hand basic, W.C., and shaving socket.

Upstairs via the spiral stairs to second bedroom with 4ft double bed, hanging rail and small drawer space. Door to en-suite with hand basin and W.C.

Please note: The spiral staircase is narrow and may not be suitable for the less mobile, or young children.

Outside:

There is a walkway at the rear of the property with a bench. Waterfront and beach 60 yards.

Parking:

Designated parking space for 1 car in the resident's car park. Further parking is available in the non-residents' car park, just a stroll up the hill, at a charge of £2 per day. Unfortunately, EV charging is not available at 3 The Boat House.

Included: Bed linen, electricity, heating, Wi-fi and towels. Guests are asked to supply their own beach towels.

Internet & Telephone: No telephone. Mobile signal varies. Wi-fi is available.

Pets: Sorry, no pets allowed.

EV Charging: Unfortunately, 3 The Boat House is not suitable for EV charging.

Local facilities: Beach and Ferry Boat Inn 50 m. Outdoor heated swimming pool on site (open beginning of May 'til end of September). Foot ferry across the river to Helford Village and Shipwrights Arms. Local shop selling basics in Mawnan Smith, plus the Red Lion pub and Awna Cafe, 2 miles. Falmouth with all facilities, 6 miles.
