This contemporary coastal apartment overlooking Mawgan Porth Beach perches on a hillside above the village and is just a short walk from the sandy stretch below. Far reaching views over the cove and out to sea as well as plenty of airy space inside means it’s perfectly suited to beach holidays for families and friends, and with the attractions of towns like Newquay and Padstow within easy reach, this really is a fantastic base for experiencing all that Cornwall’s north coast has to offer.

Light and inviting, Ocean View features modern furnishings and a spacious layout, with open plan living creating plenty of room for all to unwind in after sun-splashed days spent down in the surf. Sliding doors from the living area open on to a fabulous patio with a bistro table and chairs, so for morning coffees and evening G&T’s it’s the perfect spot to take in those magnificent sea views. The apartment has two large bedrooms which are furnished with good quality beds and linen, as well as a luxurious family bathroom and a large kitchen with a breakfast bar and stools.

The village of Mawgan Porth is small and quaint but does offer all the essentials guests will need while on holiday including a supermarket/deli, newsagent, surf shop and family-friendly pub and bistro. The beach itself offers fine sand and clear water, and the nearby surf school makes taking to the water a breeze irrespective of age or ability. Rock pools pepper the dune-backed shore while the surrounding cliffs create a dramatic backdrop, and the South West Coastal Path which meanders all the way to Watergate Bay is a great way to take in the gorgeous coastal scenery.

The light and bright open plan living area which is furnished with a leather corner sofa and TV has access out to the furnished balcony with wonderful sea views over Mawgan Porth Bay. There is a sideboard in this area with a music system and docking station

The well-equipped modern kitchen has an oven, fridge/freezer, dishwasher, washing machine and a range of small appliances such as a toaster, kettle and microwave. There is plenty of storage and worktop space, part of which doubles as a breakfast bar and stools
