About this property

Sleeping eight guests in five bedrooms, Folneth is a traditional Cornish beach house that sits mere metres from the shoreline. With generous indoor living space, a large garden, and views over St Michael’s Mount and the sea, the house creates a laid-back base for holidays on Cornwall’s beautiful south coast.

Bright and welcoming throughout, large windows frame the views, providing beautiful vantage points from which to admire St Michael's Mount and the surrounding coastline. Comfortable seating areas invite guests to unwind after a day at the beach, while the dining spaces provide plenty of room for gathering over leisurely meals. With five bedrooms and two bathrooms, families and groups looking to enjoy quality time together will have tons of personal space. Most of the bedrooms enjoy lovely sea views, making waking up here a truly special experience.

Outside, the garden is fabulous for enjoying a morning coffee, an evening drink, or simply soaking up the Cornish sunshine. Guests can relax in peaceful surroundings while taking in panoramic views of the sea and St Michael's Mount.

Marazion's wide sandy beach is just moments away and offers calm waters ideal for swimming, paddle boarding, kayaking and family beach days. The town's most famous landmark, St Michael's Mount, sits just offshore and can be reached via the ancient causeway at low tide or by seasonal ferry. The South West Coast Path provides fantastic walking opportunities in both directions, while nearby Penzance offers an Art Deco lido, independent shops, excellent restaurants and traditional pubs.

A short drive away, Newlyn's working fishing harbour and the picturesque village of Mousehole offer authentic Cornish charm, while Porthcurno's turquoise waters and the world-famous Minack Theatre are within easy reach. On Cornwall's north coast, St Ives and Carbis Bay provide further opportunities to enjoy beautiful beaches, galleries, restaurants and boutique shopping.
