Driftwood is a well-maintained and beautifully decorated property in Marazion, Cornwall, offering a comfortable stay with a range of thoughtful touches. Guests consistently praise its cleanliness, the luxurious hot tub, and the personal touches like a Cornish cream tea on arrival. While the property is in a great location, parking can be challenging due to limited spaces.

Guests that stayed at this property said

Guests consistently report that the property is spotlessly clean, with several reviews highlighting the cleanliness as a standout feature.

The property is praised for its great location in a lovely village, well placed for touring around south Cornwall. However, parking issues due to limited space slightly affect the score.

The majority of guests find the property very comfortable, with only one guest mentioning difficulty with the sofa due to an injury. Overall, the comfort level is highly rated.

Facilities are generally well-received, especially the hot tub. However, there is a mention of a missing dishwasher and a TV issue, which suggests room for improvement in maintenance and accuracy of the listing.

Many reviews mention the thoughtful touches provided by the owner, such as a welcome cream tea package. While these are highly appreciated, it should be noted that such gifts are a kind gesture and may not be guaranteed for every stay.

The cream tea waiting for us was a lovely thought and there were lots of little extras left for us to use. A lot of love and thought has gone into the property. The hot tub was so lovely after a day walking and very private. The apartment was very comfortable and very well decorated. The only problem we had was with parking. With a small car it would be fine but ours didn’t fit in the car park very easily. There are also not enough spaces for everyone. To go again we would need to take into consideration the cost of parking in the long stay car park for a week We loved our stay in Driftwood and would definitely go again with consideration to parking charges.

The property was excellent and well equipped - The only major issue was not the property but the other people staying in the complex, they obviously have zero comprehension of Cornish roads and parking constraints - large 4x4's just are not suitable vehicles for Cornwall or the car park at the property

The little extras provided by the owner are the icing on the cake, and very much appreciated. We return year after year, it's ideal for us.
