Sandbanks enjoys an ideal location just yards from the seafront, beach and fishing harbour.

Sandbanks is a two bedroom cottage situated right next to the sandy beach in East Looe and a minute or so away from the working fishing harbour where visitors can watch the fishermen, try a spot of crabbing or even book a coastal cruise, glass bottom boat trip or perhaps a speed boat ride. Conveniently, the shops, bars, restaurants and cafes also lie less than a minute away, so this is the ideal place if you don't want to use your car.  A boat taxi (40p tide permitting) crosses the river to West Looe and a bit further along the coast road lies Hannafore beach with its fascinating rockpools, cafes, pitch and putt and glorious views across the sea to St. George's Island. A stunning coastal walk leads to Talland Bay, Polperro and further round to Fowey and beyond. If you do want a day out, Sandbanks is around 40 minutes' drive from the Ocean City of Plymouth and the popular Eden Project 40 minutes drive in the other direction, as well as 90 minutes from the ancient Cornish city of Truro. A 25 minute drive leads to wild and unspoilt Bodmin Moor with spectacular scenery and historic engine houses: evidence of Cornwall's mining heritage. Situated in such a great location, Sandbanks is ideal for those who don't want to stray too far. The cottage has a neutral, clean and contemporary theme throughout, yet retains its Cornish character with thick walls and a stone feature fireplace in the lounge. A spacious open-plan lounge/kitchen/diner makes for a sociable holiday home.  Upstairs there is a double bedroom, twin bedroom and shower room. This cottage is next door to Beachways and the properties can be rented together for larger parties.

Accommodation: Ground floor: Open plan living/dining/kitchen with TV/DVD, dining table and chairs, gas hob, electric oven, microwave, fridge, small freezer, washing machine. Cloakroom with WC and basin. First Floor: Bedroom 1 with Double bed. Bedroom 2 with Twin (can be zip linked on request). Shower room with WC and basin.

Facilities and Services: Linen and towels. Gas CH. No smoking. Regret no pets. Allocated free parking for 1 car on the seafront car park just yards from the cottage. Short breaks available out of season. Arr/Dep for weekly bookings is Saturday.
