There’s no better welcome after a long day exploring your surroundings than the roaring wood burner in the cosy lounge/diner; snuggle up on the sofa and catch the latest blockbuster on the Smart TV or find pure peace admiring the exposed ceiling beams and calming coastal theme. Head into the adjoining contemporary farmhouse-style kitchen to get creative with your local produce to be enjoyed as you dine romantically long into the evening or at tomorrow’s picnic. When you can’t resist the call of bedtime, climb the cottage staircase to wash off sandy toes in the shower in the stylish bathroom before retiring to the serene double bedroom for a well-earned rest before tomorrow’s adventure. Steeped in history, the picturesque town of Looe centres around a working harbour, famous for its award-winning daily caught fish and glass-bottom boat rides to Looe Island. Sheltered by Banjo Pier and overlooked by the hillside of Mount Ararat, while away an afternoon paddling the calm waters and building castles sandcastles at East Looe Beach just under a mile away. Keen walkers can join the South West Coast path from the footpath running alongside West Looe Beach at Hannafore less than half a mile away to be rewarded with panoramic sea views to Looe Island; follow the coast path to the charming nearby fishing village of Polperro 4.5 miles away.
