Quietly set on the west side of Looe, Glen Lea is close to the river and many woodland walks and around 5 minutes from the working fishing harbour from where visitors can book a coastal cruise or glass bottom boat trip. There are many beautiful coastal walks to be enjoyed from Looe as the coastal path extends for miles in each direction offering innumerable beaches, rocky coves, and inlets to explore. In West Looe you will find Hannafore Seafront, ideal for rock pooling, a beach barbecue or perhaps a delicious cream tea. Across the river in East Looe things are a little livelier with many shops, pubs and restaurants to choose from. Looe is a great base to discover much of Cornwall fairly quickly and easily. The Eden Project is about 40 minutes' drive and the city of Plymouth the same in the other direction. The charming Cornish city of Truro is around 1 hour 15 minutes away by car.
