Boasting a central location, there are many key tourist attractions that Cornwall has to offer situated close by, including the fishing town of Fowey and Looe, and the coastal village of Polperro. Bodmin Moor is only a short drive away to the North. Also within easy reach are the many beautiful gardens on the south coast. The historic city of Plymouth is just a short drive away, where there are many sandy, surfing beaches on the north coast, including Newquay with its zoo and Blue Reef Aquarium.
Alternatively, why not visit the harbour towns of Port Isaac, where the TV series of Doc Martin is filmed, and Padstow, with its variety of shops, pubs and restaurants, including Rick Stein’s famous fish restaurant. Beach 10½ miles. Shop, pub and restaurant 2 miles.

Perfect for us and our two little dogs. The field behind is a bonus to let the dogs off and run wild! Lovely size cottage and very peaceful. We’ve been twice and booked again for next year so that says it all 😃

Swallows Rest is a perfect little place, well equipped, immaculately clean with friendly owners, Lilly and Geoff, not forgetting Violet the dog! We felt at home as soon as we arrived, the added scones, jam and cream went down well, topped off with a nice cuppa using the fresh milk left in the fridge for us! Close to lots of amazing beaches and places to visit.

Can't wait to return! We loved everything about Swallows Rest - location perfect and property is spot on with everything you would need. Having to leave!! In all honesty absolutely nothing to dislike about this place.
