A superb home-from-home for a couple's rural escape, the hut is nestled in 1.2 acres of land and enjoys spectacular views of Kit Hill and Bodmin Moor, whilst being within easy reach of a range of sights to see, including the stunning beaches of Looe and Polperro. You will be greeted upon arrival by ample off-road parking spaces, before making your way up the stairs and into this charming abode. Throw some logs into the woodburning stove to give the open-plan room a warm glow, as you kick off your shoes and unwind in front of the Smart TV; the TV comes with Netflix, so you can enjoy your favourite shows and movies during your stay! After rustling up a tasty dinner for two with the kitchenette's handy microwave oven, enjoy it as a romantic meal for two at the booth dining table. When night falls, the dining table can be transformed into a double bed for you to snuggle up in. In the morning, freshen up and enjoy a rejuvenating soak in the en-suite's fabulous walk-in shower. The property benefits from being surrounded by a lawn that houses a selection of seating areas for you to unwind in, including an elevated decked area and picnic bench where you can enjoy a morning coffee, as well as an outdoor dining area with access to a barbecue. After embarking on a walk or cycle in the surrounding countryside, travel a short distance south to Upton Cross where you will find your amenities in Caradon Inn, a hotel with a pub and convenience store. The hut is in the Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty of Bodmin Moor. Continue to the village of Minions where you can venture through the Engine House hiking area, discover the intriguing historical landmarks of the Hurlers Stone Circles, Sharp Tor and The Cheesewrings, before exploring the ruins of the South Phoenix and Phoenix Mines; the village also isn't far from the Siblyback Lake, a place that is home to an activity centre that is ideal for those watersports enthusiasts! Travel a little further to Liskeard to learn of the local history at the Liskeard Museum and Stuart House, before enjoying an idyllic stroll through the Moyclare Cornish Garden. Why not visit Tavistock, an ancient market town, where you can enjoy a spot of golf at the local club, go picnicking in The Meadows and finish the day off with a pint at The Market Inn. With so much to see in this part of Cornwall, you will rarely find yourselves running out of things to do, the Bodmin Moor is filled with plenty of nature-rich areas to explore; nearby you can also find the towns of Bodmin and Launceton, where even more fun awaits! A former mining settlement, Upton Cross is now a lovely, little village nestled on the edge of Bodmin Moor. Surrounded by the countryside, the village offers visitors ample walking and cycling opportunities, whilst also providing them with a convenience store and pub set within the Caradon Inn. Visitors will be pleased with the village's easy access to Bodmin Moor's best sights, including the Cheeswrings, Sharp Tor and the Engine Houses hiking area.
