Rosecraddoc Manor - Lakeview is a holiday cottage praised for its beautiful surroundings, cleanliness, and tranquil setting. Guests appreciate the well-equipped kitchen, good fishing, and the property's natural beauty. While some guests experienced issues with management and facilities, others enjoyed the peaceful environment and are keen to return.
The property generally receives high marks for cleanliness, with guests noting it as clean and well-maintained. One review specifically mentions the property being 'super sauber' (very clean), suggesting a high standard of cleanliness.
The location is described as great and lovely, with beautiful views and a lake that adds to the tranquility. However, one review mentioned that shops were further away than expected, which could affect convenience for some guests.
Comfort receives mixed reviews. Some guests found the beds and mattresses to be thin and uncomfortable, suggesting a need for upgrades. However, the spaciousness and setting were found to be comfortable by others.
Facilities are a point of contention among guests. While some enjoyed the sauna and found the kitchen well-equipped, others reported missing amenities like a DVD player and issues with heating. Maintenance concerns, such as non-working radiators, were also raised.
There is insufficient information to score thoughtfulness accurately. While one review mentioned the lack of a welcome pack, there are no consistent references to gestures of thoughtfulness or gifts to inform a fair score.

Lakeview stands about 75 yards from the manor, in an enviable position overlooking the fishing lake, and enjoys particularly beautiful views from its first floor living room and large balcony.

From when we got their the manageress was very abrupt with us no welcome no hope you have a nice holiday just I hope you don't mess the place up not a good attitude.Their was no welcome pack not even a half pint of milk as a welcome gesture Felt very unwelcoming. On the advert it said bath, sauna first bathroom, shower over jacuzzi bath in second bathroom but in fact their was no jacuzzi just a standard bath which was one of the reasons I chose this cottage. They also advertised cd and dvd player another missing item.two of the radiators did not work properly bedroom heater did not work was ticking but no heat the one in the other bedroom had a burning smell when turned on.Also told when we got to the holiday cottage was that the shops were only down the road WRONG more like 10/15 minutes by car. Overall the worst place we've stayed in Rude manageress, faulty or non existent equipment, and seemed to worry about the grounds more than the accomodation it's self. What a let down, managers need to realise it's the customers who keep them going.OVERALL please don't even think about renting this holiday spot waste of time and money.

Lovely setting, spacious. Enough room for 6 people.. Well equipped kitchenDownstairs double bed only 4'6" wide and mattress very thin and uncomfortable. Needs to be upgraded.Shower over bath adequate, but quite slippery for older peopleUp stairs bed also 4'6", but a slightly better quality mattress, it seems. Upgrade would nice.As no shower possible upstairs, single shower downstairs was busy. No towels provided, although shown on property description.Parking a little tricky for second vehicle.A recycling box would be useful, along with more general waste dustbin bags
