About this property

Occupying a secluded and elevated position, set within the countryside and immaculate grassy fields is this luxury lodge, 9 Horizon View. The lodge offers spacious accommodation for a family of six and/or friends to come together and make the most of a rural setting. The open-plan living space enjoys natural light from the panoramic windows, layered with an all-white, stylish finish. The contrasting purple sofas with sumptuous cushions allow you to cosy up while maybe watching a film on the large TV set within the wall and warming the room with a pleasant glow from the fire. A pristine kitchen provides you with all you need to ease your self-catered holiday. Throw open the French doors on a summer afternoon and step out onto the decking to gaze into the distance at the rolling pastures that stretch for miles or make use of the sunken hot tub and let the bubbles soothe any aches and pains as you admire the breath-taking views; you may want to dine alfresco on a warm summers' night or wrap up warm in winter and enjoy starry skies out on the decking. As the night grows darker, select from three bedrooms, including a double with en-suite, a double (zip/link) with TV, and a twin, along with a main bathroom for completing your nightly routine from. There are plenty of places to visit enveloping the cottage, such as Liskeard which is a few miles away with a train station taking you to the picturesque fishing village of Looe. This journey will pass through the wooded valleys teeming with wildlife, and give you views of the estuary as the river meets the sea. Looe boasts a lively bustle around its quay and offers much to see and do; twist your way around cobbled streets to find shops and pubs, and amble along Banjo Pier to watch the fishing trawlers return. Guests can enjoy the Old Mill Bar and Restaurant at our sister site, Stonerush Lakes, which can be found a short journey away.

This village is surrounded by open fields and countryside, and is close to the market town of Liskeard. Explore the many delights the region has to offer, with the fishing harbours of Looe and Polperro within 8 miles. Take a trip to Siblyback Lake and enjoy the sailing, fishing and watersports available, or take full advantage of walking on Bodmin Moor. Very clean, everything you need and a spectacular view! The hot tub was amazing too! Thank you for the best holiday! Would highly recommend this lodge and the Southern Halt site - beautiful surroundings, well kept and all the staff we spoke to were super friendly and helpful. Golitha Falls is just a 5 minute drive away, absolutely stunning, then finish off with delicious grub at Inkies Smokehouse. A visit to St Nectans Waterfall is well worth a visit, not far from Boscastle. If you have a gluten-intolerant member of the family, Boscastle have the best bakery that does gluten-free pasties, delicious! And the cafe next door does a GF cream tea! Mevagissy, Padstow and Polperro also worth a visit! Just a wonderful place and a wonderful lodge to come back to and relax! Thank you!!
