Snaptrip says

Guests have enjoyed the stunning views, privacy, and homely feel of 9 Faraway Fields, with many praising the cleanliness and the addition of a hot tub. The lodge's location offers easy access to local attractions, enhancing the stay. While some minor maintenance issues and outdoor furniture concerns were noted, the overall experience has been positive, with guests looking forward to returning.

Guests that stayed at this property said

The lodge generally receives high marks for cleanliness, with several reviews mentioning it being spotless and well-presented upon arrival. However, a few guests noted issues such as unwashed windows and a need for a more thorough clean in certain areas, slightly affecting the score.

The location is highly praised for its breathtaking countryside views and proximity to local sites like Golitha Falls and St Ives. The privacy and tranquillity offered by the lodge's setting contribute to its high score in this category.

Comfort is well-regarded with guests finding the beds and sofas comfortable and the lodge cosy. Some guests, however, mentioned that the beds in certain rooms were not as comfortable as expected, which slightly lowers the score.

Facilities like the hot tub are appreciated, but there are several mentions of maintenance issues such as outdoor furniture needing better care and minor problems with appliances. These concerns have led to a moderate score in this category.

While the reviews reflect positive experiences and mention a welcome pack, there is insufficient information to determine the consistency of thoughtful gestures like gifts. Therefore, it cannot be guaranteed and the score is set to null.

Very comfortable with wonderful views over the countryside.

The lodge although lovely in appearance needs a blooming good clean and freshen up, the shower room especially. Was surprised at lack / quality of items in lodge. Only 2 toilet rolls left for a 7 day stay, only one tea towel no kitchen hand towel…bath towels very thin. Just didn’t feel like quality or luxury. The hot tub was lovely though and cleaned every day. A Christmas tree was a nice touch. If they want to be considered luxury or 5 star they need to focus on the little things.

The hot tub was much appreciated every day even whilst it was raining. The only thing that could be improved on would be a card on the table saying where the instructions where for all the appliances, this would save hunting through the many drawers an d cupboards after a long tiring journey. We have sung many praises already and will definitely look forward to staying again.
