The Eden Project is within 15 miles and Plymouth is just a 30-minute drive away, with its old harbour, shops and restaurants.

This property is in much need of a deep clean and maintenance. Not at all how it is pictured (as new). You canât charge so much money per week and not maintain the high standard these lodges are usually kept at. The sofas were in an urgent need of cleaning, certainly not somewhere we could have sat and relaxed. There was water damage from the bathroom onto the flooring in the hallway. There was much more. We were not happy and so disappointed with this property.

We had a great holiday. The only issues we had were there were quite a few cobwebs on arrival and areas that hadn't been fully cleaned, like the upper windows. Some of the blinds were broken and the sofa looked like it needed a really good clean or just replacing. The main living area was like a sauna all week and could really do with either air con or a ceiling fan at bare minimum. However It was mostly things that we could live with and didn't spoil our time. The bed were very comfy, view and hot tub were amazing and cleaned daily, kitchen well stocked. I just think those little details would have made it a 5 star holiday instead of 4
