First time at 12HV though and it did not disappoint, in fact we have already booked number12 for next year. What a lovely clean and modern place to stay with a great view across the valley and the hot tub star gazing is a treat.

Nevertheless it has been well maintained as is in a great location with stunning views. We have stayed in a number of different lodges at Southern Halt and this has become our new favourite.

However I will say the site at Southern Halt contacted me immediately to arrange for alternative accommodation. So I am unable to comment on this particular lodge, however the standard of housekeeping and site maintenance is exceptional.
