Sleeping up to four guests in two bedrooms, this is the perfect setting for couples or a family holiday in the countryside. This is a home away from home, with everything you need for a self-catered stay, including beach towels for a fun day out to he beach. Park up in the handy off-road parking space where a quaint lodge that is tucked into the corner of the site greets you. Enter into your holiday home where a spacious open-plan living area awaits; kick off your shoes before unwinding on the corner sofa with the kids after a busy day exploring the plethora of activities the countryside has to offer. Flick on a film to keep the kids entertained before preparing a home-cooked meal in the fully-equipped kitchen, enjoy this together at the large dining table while revelling in the memories you have created on this trip. When the evening draws to a close tuck the kids into bed in the double room with a TV before heading out to enjoy the last of the sun on the private decking. Indulge in a glass of wine at the picnic bench before challenging your partner to one of the many board games provided. When the sun goes down, head inside for a soothing soak or quick shower, both ideal for washing off the day’s adventures then retire to the bedroom where a spacious king-size bed awaits. There is also a double sofa bed in the living area for flexible sleeping arrangements. Slope off to sleep and get some well-earned rest before another day exploring Devon. Willow Lodge lies on the outskirts of Ashwater, a small rural village with a village shop to stock up on essentials, and a pub to dine out after busy day's exploring. Spend a day in the market town of Holsworthy with Holsworthy Museum, a Golf Club, and is within easy reach of Devon's renowned coast. You'll find the coastal town of Bude which houses the sandy shores of Summerleaze Beach and Crooklets Beach the perfect place for a spot of sunbathing; there is also Bude Sea Pool for swimming and Compass point that boasts impressive views across the sea. Just north of Bude lies the Hartland Cornwall Heritage Coast for unforgettable coastal walks and relaxing along Sandymouth Bay Beach! Alternatively, the town of Launceston, an ancient borough that is steeped in history, is home to the National Trust site Lawrence House, a local museum and Georgian townhouse and the English Heritage site Launceston Castle. It is also home to an array of bars and restaurants such as the Launceston Arms and The Church Tavern which are perfect for nights when you don’t fancy cooking. For more idyllic countryside, be sure to visit Dartmoor National Park, a sprawling landscape scattered with historic sites and popular for walking, cycling, climbing, and horse riding. Willow Lodge is a wonderful setting for a memorable getaway for all guests at any time of year.
