Located on the owner s farm and situated at the end of a long private tarmac drive surrounded by farmland and Priddacombe Downs; a 224-acre nature reserve owned and run by the Cornwall Wildlife Trust. Guests that love trekking can enjoy exhilarating walks to the peak of Brown Willy the highest point in Cornwall and neighbouring outcrop Rough Tor (which has a smaller elevation of just a few metres). Nature lovers can see a variety of birdlife and the many wild flowers insects and animals that inhabit this beautiful expanse of moor and heathland. This property s location offers easy access to a variety of top visitor attractions such as The Eden Project the Lost Gardens of Heligan and the historic Jamaica Inn for fans of Daphne Du Maurier. The fishing village of Port Isaac on the coast is also nearby and offers excellent fresh fish restaurants. Guests can take advantage of the excellent fly fishing at Colliford Lake/Reservoir or the nearby Temple Fishery. Other traditional fishing villages such as Looe and the sandy surfing beaches at Polzeath and Newquay are all within 1 hour s drive. Alternatively stay put and relax in the garden where you can see some of the farming activities or sit back and enjoy the views. This lovely holiday cottage is in the wing of a farmhouse with character wooden floor and exposed ceiling beams. The design of the ground floor embraces open plan living the lounge area has an electrical coal burner-effect fire and a TV/DVD. The kitchen area has an electric oven and hob a washer/dryer a dishwasher fridge/freezer and a wine cooler. The accommodation s two bedrooms are on the first floor; the first of which has a king size bed and an additional single. The next bedroom is a twin single. Both rooms overlook the garden and the farm land. The bathroom comprises a bath a large shower cubicle and a WC. Outside is a lovely spacious shared lawn garden with garden furniture and BBQ for cooking up a storm in the evening! There is also ample car parking close to the accommodation.
