Hardstone Barn is a spacious barn conversion in a peaceful country setting close to the town of Launceston on the border between Devon and Cornwall. With an "upside down" design, this cottage has five bedrooms (three doubles and two twins), three of which have ensuite facilities, which with the addition of a family bathroom make this cottage suitable for up to ten people. On the first floor is an open plan living area with a well-equipped fitted kitchen, a spacious dining area and a large sitting area with a woodburning stove. Outside the cottage is off road parking for five cars, a patio with outdoor furniture, a BBQ and use of the owner's field. Being so well situated in the heart of the Devon countryside, Hardstone Barn is bound to give you a holiday to remember.

Ground floor bathroom with bath, basin and WC. First floor basin and WC. Open plan living area with kitchen, dining area and sitting area with woodburner. Utility. Note: The kitchen, dining area and sitting area are divided by internal steps.

Around and About
The town of Launceston, situated on the Devon and Cornwall border, has wonderful architecture, including some fine Georgian buildings in the central square and is dominated by the ruins of a Norman castle sitting high above the town. Visit the Tamar Otter Park just 3 miles away or take a trip on the steam train from Launceston through the beautiful Kensey Valley on a 5 mile round trip. Launceston is within driving distance of the seaside resorts of Bude and Padstow as well as the stunning Bodmin Moor and Dartmoor. A superb base for exploring Cornwall and Devon.
Devon, with its quiet country lanes, patchwork of lush green fields and sleepy villages is not to be missed. Stately home lovers will be spoiled and why not finish with a scrumptious Devonshire cream tea?
