Across the estuary is Fowey with its wonderful literary and fishing heritage.

Step inside the stable door which leads to charming interiors, beautifully decorated with nautical themes. Kick back and relax on cosy seating in the open-plan living and dining area where you can see colourful boats bobbing about on the river while you make exciting plans for a new day. Enjoy favourite films on the Smart TV and Blu-ray DVD, staying toasty with the warmth of the wood burner. Step through to the kitchen which is compact though fully-equipped to cope with culinary feasts for your hungry sailors and pirate pup. When slumber falls, you’ll find two double bedrooms and a children's bunk bedroom, plus a family bathroom, on the first floor. On the second floor, there’s a king-size bedroom with an en-suite shower room, Smart TV, and perfectly placed seating for the best riverside view. - Polruan is a quaint little village situated on a very steep hill, so access to some parts of the village can be challenging.

- Many of the amenities, ferries and cottages in Polruan are accessed via steps some of which can be steep. Please contact us if you have specific requirements.

- There are many small winding streets that are not suitable for cars, therefore many properties in Polruan do not have private parking. However, there is a large pay and display carpark at the top of the village.
