Set in the centre of the village, a short walk to the Coal Wharf and boatyard,this cottage is an ideal base for exploring South Cornwall with its many delights and attractions.

Nestling on the beautiful south coast of Cornwall alongside the river Fowey you will find the unspoilt village of Poluran with its village shop, traditional cafe and local pub. From the quaint quayside take a relaxing trip on the passenger ferry to Fowey, explore the village whilst enjoying the shops, restaurants and bars. If you are able to pull yourself away from the village there is so much to see and do from the beautiful coastal path to Lantic Bay then onto Polperro or even Bodinnick where you can catch the ferry back to Fowey and then Polruan. There is always something going on throughout the year from the Fowey regatta to Polruan carnival. Enter the property into an open plan layout with lounge/kitchen/diner. In the lounge area relax in front of the wood burner and watch your favourite film on the TV/DVD. The kitchen area is well equipped for making family meals and snacks, with an electric oven and hob, microwave, fridge with ice compartment and washing machine. Heading up to the first floor you will find two bedrooms, a king size and a bunk room. Also on this floor is a shower room with shower and WC. The second floor is accessed by steep stairs where there is a second lounge with ample seating and two window seats to take advantage of the river views. There is a small courtyard area with table and chairs and seating for two and a storage area, useful for bikes or canoes, and all those buckets and spades. The property does not have any parking but there are nearby car parks where weekly tickets can be purchased. Need to know: Sleeps 4. 2 bedrooms 1 king size and 1 bunk room. 1 shower room. TV/DVD in lounge. There are steps leading to the entrance of property. There is a steep staircase to the second floor so may not be suitable for young children. Polruan is a quaint little village situated on a very steep hill, so access to some parts of the village can be challenging.. Many of the amenities, ferries and cottages in Polruan are accessed via steps some of which can be steep. Please contact us if you have specific requirements.. There are many small winding streets that are not suitable for cars, therefore many properties in Polruan do not have private parking. However, there is a large pay and display carpark at the top of the village..
