There is a table for two, plus separate kitchen, with a quirky feature of shower area at the far end. The lower-ground-floor hosts the pretty bedroom, a haven of country comforts, guaranteeing tranquil slumber with en-suite WC and wash basin. Set in this peaceful idyll, the cottage is reached along a private driveway with ample parking and an enclosed garden to keep pets safe and secure. For rambles and rural exploration, venture through the 14 acres of fields and woodland or pack a hamper with bubbly for a picnic aside the stream or pond, amidst the wildlife and birdsong. Mullion is a large village perched on the Lizard Peninsula just over five miles from Lizard Point. Within the village you will find a selection of restaurants, shops and pubs, Mullion Meadows Chocolate Factory and coffee shop, as well as Mullion Cove, a working harbour. Close by is the market town of Helston which is famous for its Flora Day Festival and the many legends of the "Furry Dance".
